Built from a leap of faith
WPG Local Cleaners was started in 2024 by Kayla Curtis — a Winnipeg medical student who wanted to build something that mattered while putting herself through school.
What began as a practical solution became a company with a bigger mission: to transform cleaning into a respected profession where every team member is valued, fairly compensated, and supported.

Absolutely. We offer a free customizable cleaning checklist so you can tell us exactly what to prioritize in your space. Download it from this page or request specific tasks when you book.
Yes — our cleaners bring their own professional-grade supplies and equipment. We do ask that clients provide a vacuum, as transporting them between homes isn't always practical. If you don't have one available, just let us know ahead of time.
No. Most of our clients provide access and let us handle the rest. We'll let you know when we arrive and when the job is complete.
We encourage e-transfer to info@wpglocalcleaners.ca — it's quick and easy. We also accept credit card payments securely through our Jobber client portal if you prefer to pay online.
We always try to match you with the same cleaner for consistency. Scheduling may occasionally require a different team member, but we'll always let you know ahead of time.
We offer residential cleaning (weekly, biweekly, monthly, and one-time), commercial cleaning for offices and retail spaces, and move-in/move-out cleans.
We stand behind every job. If something isn't right, contact us within 24 hours and we'll come back to make it right — at no extra charge.
